You’re doing all the things, working hard, showing up for everyone else, yet somewhere along the way you stopped seeing you.
I know what that feels like because I lived it.
For years I hid in plain sight. I helped everyone else shine while quietly shrinking myself to fit expectations that were never mine to begin with. I played the part, wore the “right” clothes, and tried to be who the world said I should be.
It worked for a while, but it was exhausting.
Like most women, I’ve wrestled with self-image more times than I can count.
The media, comments from peers, body changes… it all stacks up until you start believing that confidence is something you earn instead of something you already have.
I spent years wishing I looked different. I hated my freckles and curly red hair. I thought I needed to be thin, blonde, and blue-eyed to be beautiful.
That was never who I was meant to be, and realizing that changed everything.
When I finally started working on the inside, I began to see myself differently. I noticed the good.
I complimented other women, even strangers, on what made them stand out. And I started doing the same for myself.
It sounds simple, but it was life-changing.
When I was first typed in the Elements, I discovered I’m Fire.
And it hit hard, in the best possible way (after I tried to prove that I wasn’t Fire, and failed).
For the first time, I understood why certain colors made me feel alive and others made me disappear. I stopped dressing to hide and started dressing to be seen. Compliments felt different. My confidence changed.
In less than six months, my income more than doubled, my relationships strengthened (with family, friends, colleagues, clients, and even strangers), and I felt more “at home” in my own skin than ever before.
Eventually, I became certified by the stylist who typed me so I could help others experience that same “aha” moment.
Because once you truly see yourself, everything shifts.
I grew up in Southern California, moved to Las Vegas in my early twenties, and somewhere between raising two boys, running businesses, and navigating a few wild plot twists, I found myself again.
Leaving a toxic relationship and becoming a single mom to two teenage sons was the turning point. That’s when I stopped merely existing and started living. I went from burnout and survival mode to real, unapologetic alignment.
Now my life looks completely different. It’s filled with meaningful relationships, motorcycles, concerts, travel, jumping out of planes, swimming with sharks, and saying yes to anything that makes me feel alive.
Community matters to me. Connection matters even more.
And at the heart of it all, I just want to help people feel seen, the way I finally learned to see myself.
